The CANDI-IP project aims to implement a modern IP-based ground-ground data communications network. The new CANDI-IP network will be fully IP based, dual-redundant – with a separate back-up network. The CANDI-IP will support IPv6, IPv4 as well as advanced QoS (Quality of Service) functionality to ensure maximum quality of VoIP based voice communications and other services carried by the network. The network will support the national SWIM data and services between sites. The network will also be prepared to support information exchange (SWIM) according to new European standards on information exchange and services via PENS and NewPENS.

The project is expected to be completed at the end of September 2018
