21 January The 29 December 2007, Naviair implemented a new air traffic management system, and this has, as expected, led to delays for some flights in Danish airspace. |
|
Naviair has in the last couple of months via the press informed the public about expected delays for the air traffic in Danish airspace in periods with high traffic density. Naviair is regularly contacted by air travellers who want to know about possible delays concerning specific departures or flights in general. Our answer to these questions will always be that we do not know in advance how delays will affect each specific departure – and it will always be the airline companies in question that can give you concrete information about delays concerning your specific flight departure. Finally we would like mention that Naviair’s new air traffic management system is only one of many fac-tors that can lead to delays – other causes can be air traffic regulations in other countries, technical prob-lems on aircraft, delayed arrival, and finally the weather. We whish you all a pleasant flight with as few delays as possible!
