Pilots express great satisfaction with Naviair’s core service.

Naviair even made excellent grades in a new annual survey, the purpose of which is to measure and continuously improve user satisfaction with the services of Naviair.

This time the survey was conducted among pilots in a number of Danish-based airlines, which are among the largest customers of Naviair.

In the questionnaire survey, the pilots were asked to assess factors such as safety, communication, efficiency and service in relation to the services provided by Naviair, both on take-off and landing in Copenhagen Airport and Billund Airport as well as when flying through airspace where Naviair has responsibility for the Air Traffic Control.

  • The result of the survey shows that Naviair achieves its target to have 90 per cent “satisfied/very satisfied” pilots in all of the above functional areas.
  • The survey also shows that, in comparison with similar providers of Air Traffic Control in Europe, Naviair ranks among the best.
  • Moreover, the pilot user survey has provided valuable proposals for improvements of the safety level in relation to aprons by the terminal buildings and the use of Taxi Ways and passage of Runway 12/30 in Copenhagen Airport. Naviair’s management will now follow up on these proposals and recommendations.

The survey was conducted during the summer months. Questionnaires were distributed to a total of 260 pilots. 66 pilots completed and returned the questionnaire. This means that the survey is based on a response rate of 25%.
