Naviair’s CEO elected to important position in the ATM industry

On 16 June 2015, at the CANSO Annual General Meeting (AGM), Naviair CEO Morten Dambaek was elected as Member of Large to CANSO’s global Executive Committee (ExCom) for a period of three years.
CANSO is the global civil air navigation services organisation and ExCom is the organisation’s top management who determine CANSO’s overall strategy.
ExCom is composed of eleven members of whom the four are elected at the AGM. The five regional CEO Committee Chairs (Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and Caribbean, and Middle East) are also Members. Additionally, the Associate Members from the airlines and the aviation industry are represented by a Member in ExCom and finally, the CANSO Chair is also a Member of ExCom.
CANSO has 79 Full Members (ANSPs) and 89 Associated Members (airlines and aviation industry).
With the election of Mr Morten Dambaek, Naviair was elected as 2017 AGM host in Copenhagen. AGM is one of the major and most prestigious events of the year in the industry.
