What are the common Requirements?
”Common Requirements for the provision of air navigation services” – were issued as an EU regulation in December 2005 by the EU Commission stemming from the Single European Sky regulations.
The regulation lays down the common requirements within a wide range of areas such as technical and operational competence and capability, safety and quality of services, financial strength etc, all impacting the performance of the provision of air navigation services.
Any organisation which wishes to provide air navigation services in Europe is obliged to obtain certification issued by the relevant national supervisory authority.
