The Lufthansa Airbus 380 is one of four of its kind Lufthansa will acquire in 2010. It seats 526 passengers, and is the world’s largest passenger aircraft. This Airbus will be used by Lufthansa to serve Tokyo, Beijing and Johannesburg. In 2015 Lufthansa will have 15 Airbus A380.
Wednesday the 15th October was the day where an Airbus 380 for the first time landed at a Danish Airport.
The Lufthansa Airbus 380 is on a ”Tour of Scandinavia” and Copenhagen was the first stop on the tour.
The Airbus 380 landed in Copenhagen at 08.15 in the morning, spent a few hours an the ground – and then departed again at apprx. 10.15. After the departure the Airbus 380 made a low-pass on runway 04R – and then set of the new destination, Stockholm Arlanda.
