The International Air Transport Association, IATA, has awarded the Swedish Air Navigation Services Division (of LFV) with the “Eagle Award 2006”.
IATA says: “We congratulate LFV for its tremendous efforts to improve efficiency while maintaining high levels of service”.
LFV (Sweden) achieved efficiencies that enabled it to reduce its unit rate by 17% in 2006. It has achieved average annual reductions of 6.6% in each of the last four years – and by doing that, made flying cheaper for airline passengers.
Naviair congratulates LFV!
In 1998 IATA gave the same Award to The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA). This means that two of Naviair’s most important strategic partners now have received this recognition.
Morten Dambæk, Director General of Naviair says:
“It’s good to see that Scandinavia is to be found among the leaders in our Branch. LFV is Naviair’s most important partner and vice versa, so we think we can share the limelight with them”.
