ATC in Maastricht “MUAC” is in charge of the air traffic control in the airspace from about a height of 8 kilometres’ above Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg and part of the north-west of Germany.

For some time to come, MUAC updates the ATC System.

Delays in air traffic to and from South- and Western Europe will occur, partly on two testing days, partly in the implementation period in December. This will also have an impact on flights to and from Denmark, if the destination or departure airport is located in the South or Western part of Europe.

Testing days:
18 November 2008
3 December 2008

Implementation period:
12 December 2008 – 7 January 2009

To a certain extent the airlines can use alternative flight routes to minimize the risk of delays. However, all flights passing through north-western European airspace may be affected by delays.

For further information about flights in said period, please contact the individual airline.
